The Honourable Sarah Stoodley, Minister of Digital Government and Service NL and Minister Responsible for Francophone Affairs, and Scott Reid, Parliamentary Assistant to the Premier and MHA for St. George’s – Humber, will attend the 50th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Federation des francophones de Terre-Neuve et du Labrador (FFTNL).
Parliamentary Assistant Reid will participate in the anniversary banquet in Stephenville today (Friday, November 3) beginning 6:30 p.m. The event is taking place at Knights of Columbus, 97 West Street, Stephenville.
Minister Stoodley will bring greetings at a luncheon tomorrow (Saturday, November 4) at Centre scolaire et Communautaire Sainte-Anne, 231 Island View Road, Mainland at 12:00 p.m.
This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Francophone and Acadian community movement in Newfoundland and Labrador.
