The Honourable Andrew Furey, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, will make an announcement tomorrow, February 16, regarding the expansion of services for Indigenous tradespeople.

The event will take place at 12:00 p.m. at the Grenfell Room of the Glynmill Inn, 1B Cobb Lane, Corner Brook. The event will also be live streamed on the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador Facebook page.

Premier Furey will be joined by the Honourable Gerry Byrne, Minister of Immigration, Population Growth and Skills, the Honourable Lisa Dempster, Minister of Indigenous Affairs and Reconciliation, Brendan Mitchell, Chief of the Qalipu First Nation, representatives of the Miawpukek First Nation and Darin King, Executive Director of Trades NL.
