The Honourable Tom Osborne, Minister of Health and Community Services, along with Ken McDonald, Member of Parliament for Avalon, on behalf of the Honourable Jean-Yves Duclos, federal Minister of Health, will announce support aimed at raising awareness of dementia and dementia-inclusive communities in Newfoundland and Labrador tomorrow (Thursday, July 13).

The event will take place at the Placentia Cultural Interpretation Centre, 17 Patterson Drive, Placentia at 10:30 a.m.

Minister Osborne and MP McDonald will be joined by Debbie Walsh, Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer – Eastern Rural Zone, Newfoundland and Labrador Health Services and Sherry Gambin-Walsh, MHA for Placentia – St. Mary’s.

The event will be livestreamed on Government of Newfoundland and Labrador’s Facebook page.
