“We have something really special here in Newfoundland and Labrador when it comes to outdoor tourism. Our pristine natural environment is beloved as a prime location for outdoor sport and adventure, and our nature-based experiences are our most sought after from a tourism perspective. Supporting these businesses is an excellent way to grow this sector of our economy.”
Honourable Steve Crocker
Minister of Tourism, Culture, Arts and Recreation

“Funding received from the BDS Program allows Sylt Lake Tent Camps to step-up its brand development, website refresh and marketing. This will allow for new targets, especially those who completely rely on online channels when seeking hunting opportunities. The funding also ensures the company is current as well as progressive in maintaining, and attracting non-resident clients, resulting in keeping another local business alive and competitive.”
