The Honourable John Hogan, KC, Minister of Justice and Public Safety will announce funding for the Downtown Safety Coalition tomorrow (Thursday, June 8).

The event will take place at Loose Tie, 14 George Street, St. John’s at 9:30 a.m.

Minister Hogan will be joined by Minister of Health and Community Services, Tom Osborne, Minister of Children, Seniors, and Social Development, John G. Abbott, and Minister of Environment and Climate Change, Bernard Davis and His Worship Danny Breen, Mayor of St. John’s.

The Downtown Safety Coalition includes representatives of the RNC, Downtown St. John’s, the George Street Association, City of St. John’s, Destination St. John’s, Hospitality NL, Music NL and Provincial Government.
