The Newfoundland and Labrador Human Rights Commission will present the 9th annual Human Rights Award at a ceremony happening today (Thursday, December 7th). The event begins at 2:30 p.m. at the Government House in St. John’s.

The 2023 Human Rights Award recognizes an individual who has made and/or continues to make a meaningful contribution to advancing and furthering human rights in the province.
