The Honourable Krista Lynn Howell, Minister of Municipal and Provincial Affairs, will announce funding for Building Age-Friendly Community Grants tomorrow (Thursday, April 13).

The event will take place at the Pearlgate Track and Field Club, 120 Old Placentia Road, Mount Pearl at 1:00 p.m. Accessible parking is available next to the main entrance, while general parking is available at the Glacier Arena.

Minister Howell will be joined by the Honourable John G. Abbott, Minister of Children, Seniors and Social Development, Lucy Stoyles, MHA for Mount Pearl North, and Kelly Heisz, Executive Director of SeniorsNL.

The event will be livestreamed on the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador’s Facebook page.
