Minister Crocker Sends Congratulations to ECMA Nominees

The Honourable Steve Crocker, Minister of Tourism, Culture, Arts and Recreation, is congratulating nominees for the 2023 East Coast Music Awards (ECMAs). The announcement took place yesterday at an event in Halifax, Nova Scotia, the host city for this year’s awards.

In total, 58 Newfoundlanders and Labradorians received nominations across 15 different categories, marking another fantastic year of recognition for artists from this province.

The East Coast Music Awards: Festival and Conference is a five-day, non-stop musical celebration showcasing and recognizing the best of east coast artists and music. This year, the ECMAs are celebrating their 35th anniversary, and will shine a spotlight on the past, present, and future of music in Atlantic Canada. The ECMAs take place May 3-7, 2023.
