The Provincial Government congratulates four television productions filmed in Newfoundland and Labrador for receiving a total of 13 Canadian Screen Award Nominations – the most nominations ever associated with this province.
Newfoundland and Labrador has made a name for itself globally as a prime location for film and television production and the Provincial Government is proud to support the industry in its efforts to expand the local talent and create jobs.

Rock Solid Builds
- Best Lifestyle Program or Series
Son of A Critch
- Best Achievement in Hair
- Best Original Music, Comedy
- Best Supporting Performer, Comedy
- Best Guest Performance, Comedy

The Canadian Screen Awards will be broadcast on Sunday, April 16, 2023 at 9:30 p.m. (Newfoundland Standard Time) on CBC and the CBC Gem App.
