The Honourable Steve Crocker, Minister of Tourism, Culture, Arts and Recreation, will bring greetings at the opening night of the St. John’s International Women’s Film Festival this evening (Tuesday, October 17).

The event takes place at The Majestic Theatre, 390 Duckworth Street, St. John’s, beginning with a red carpet reception from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.

Minister Crocker will address the audience before the screening of the feature film ‘Party Pirate’, directed by Newfoundland and Labrador filmmaker Ruth Lawrence.

The 34th annual St. John’s International Women’s Film Festival runs from October 17 to 21, 2023.
