The Honourable Paul Pike, Minister Responsible for the Newfoundland and Labrador Housing Corporation (NLHC), will officially open eight new NLHC affordable housing units in St. John’s on Monday, January 8.

The event will take place at the NL Housing and Homelessness Network Provincial Learning Centre, 77 Charter Avenue, Suite 100, St. John’s, at 10 a.m. Following the announcement, media will be invited to tour one of the completed units, located at 37 Janeway Place.

Minister Pike will be joined by Joanne Thompson, Member of Parliament for St. John’s East, on behalf of the Honourable Sean Fraser, federal Minister of Housing, Infrastructure and Communities, as well as the Honourable Bernard Davis, Minister of Environment and Climate Change and MHA for Virginia Waters-Pleasantville, and His Worship Danny Breen, Mayor of the City of St. John’s.
