The Honourable Paul Pike, Minister of Children, Seniors and Social Development, will bring remarks at a funding announcement for Choices for Youth tomorrow (Friday, February 9).

The announcement will take place at the Choices for Youth social enterprise and innovation hub at 340 LeMarchant Road, St. John’s, beginning at 11:00 a.m.

Choices for Youth is a professional services, youth-focused, non-profit, charitable organization that operates programs and social enterprises to help vulnerable youth secure stable housing, employment and education.

Minister Pike will be joined by The Honourable Seamus O’Regan, Minister of Labour and Seniors, and Member of Parliament for St. John’s South-Mount Pearl, on behalf of the Honourable Sean Fraser, Minister of Housing, Infrastructure and Communities; Joanne Thompson, Member of Parliament for St. John’s East; His Worship Danny Breen, Mayor, City of St. John’s; and Sheldon Pollett, Executive Director of Choices for Youth.
