Provincial Government Congratulates Winners and Organizers for Successful Cain’s Quest 2024

The Provincial Government congratulates the winners, competitors, organizers and supporters for making the 2024 Cain’s Quest Snowmobile Endurance Race a success.

The top finishers in the race were:

  • First – Randy Malleck and Sebastien Malleck of Sheshatshiu, Team 99 Saga Boys Vikings
  • Second – Spencer Robinson and Kevin Willmott of Labrador City, Team 73 PWR Sports
  • Third – Eric Newhook and Daniel Newhook of Labrador City, Team 79 Bay Marine Racing

Cain’s Quest 2024 started on March 3 in Labrador City with 31 teams leaving the start line. The race, which is considered the most challenging snowmobile event of its kind, covered more than 3,100 km throughout western, central and northern areas of Labrador. Fourteen teams completed the race.

The Provincial Government is proud to support Cain’s Quest, a longstanding event that attracts racers from Newfoundland and Labrador and areas of Canada. Since its inception in 2006, Cain’s Quest has made Labrador synonymous with spectacular beauty, extreme conditions and unrivalled backcountry adventures, boosting its appeal as a year-round destination for tourists. The race also showcases Labrador’s rich and diverse cultural heritage, the region’s spirit for taking on challenges, and the hospitality of its welcoming communities and people.
