Headquartered in Deer Lake, Off the Grid Adventures offers guided big game (moose and black bear) hunting near Roddickton, which is known as the “Moose Capital of the World.” The company’s lodge is a 20-minute flight by float plane from Hawkes Bay.

The outfitters have hosted crews from television shows Quebec Countryside and Canada in the Rough, and episodes about their operation have aired on WildTV.

This funding from the Provincial Government will be used for marketing initiatives. Through the Business Development Support Program, the Provincial Government supports small and medium-sized businesses that are committed to develop and grow their operations by improving operational productivity, focusing on trade opportunities and developing their markets.
