The Honourable Andrew Parsons, KC, Minister of Industry, Energy and Technology, will announce recipients of the 2024 Research Inspired Student Enrichment (RISE) Awards tomorrow (Friday, April 19).

The event will take place at the Emera Innovation Exchange, 100 Signal Hill Road, St. John’s, beginning at 12:00 p.m. Members of the media planning to attend are asked to RSVP.

Recipients of the RISE awards are Level II high school students who demonstrate academic excellence in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. RISE award recipients can attend research-related enrichment programs in Canada and the United States.
