The Honourable Andrew Parsons, KC, Minister of Industry, Energy and Technology, will bring greetings at the Newfoundland and Labrador Regional MATE ROV competition tomorrow (Friday, May 3).

The event will take place at the Marine Institute, 155 Ridge Road, St. John’s, beginning at 5:30 p.m.

The MATE ROV Competition is an international underwater robotics challenge that engages a global community of learners each year. Participants at the Newfoundland and Labrador regional competition will be competing for the chance to attend the MATE ROV World Championship in Kingsport, TN, in June 2024.
