Applications Open for Accessible Communities Grants

The Honourable John Haggie, Minister of Municipal and Provincial Affairs, today announced a call for applications for Accessible Communities Grants that will help communities support the overall well-being of residents.

These grants are available to Municipalities, Inuit Community Governments and Local Service Districts to assist in funding initiatives and small-scale infrastructure projects with a specific focus on building active, healthy, accessible communities.

Accessible and age-friendly communities are key to the promotion of well-being and are in line with recommendations in Health Accord NL.
