The Honourable John G. Abbott, Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure, will bring greetings at a Canadian Folk Music Awards press conference taking place today (Thursday, February 8).

The event will begin at 2:00 p.m. at The Ship Pub, 265 Duckworth Street, St. John’s.

This year’s Canadian Folk Music Awards take place from April 3-7 in St. John’s, a fitting event for the Year of the Arts which celebrates Newfoundland and Labrador’s rich arts and cultural sector.
