The Honourable John G. Abbott, Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure, will attend the meeting of Federal/Provincial/Territorial Ministers Responsible for Transportation and Highway Safety.

The meeting will take place at Le Westin Montréal, at 270 Rue Saint-Antoine O, Montréal, Quebec, on Thursday and Friday (February 22-23).

The ministers will discuss such issues as enhancing transportation safety, security and the resiliency and decarbonization of the transportation system, as well as addressing the widening transportation infrastructure gaps that exist in northern and rural regions.
