The Honourable Chris Tibbs, Minister of Environment, Conservation and Climate Change, has announced the following relative to Environmental Assessment – Part 10 – of the Environmental Protection Act.
Undertaking Registered: White River Hay Production (Reg. 2426)
Proponent: White River Hay Company
The proponent is proposing to develop 62 hectares of agricultural land near Cormack for the production of forage crops. The Project involves clearing and preparing the land for agricultural use. Hay harvesting is expected to occur two to three times each growing season.

The undertaking was registered on July 16, 2026. The deadline for public comment is August 21, 2026, and the minister’s decision is due by August 30, 2026.
