FFAW-Unifor and the Association of Seafood Producers (ASP) today announced that the parties have finalized an agreement for the 2026 snow crab fishing season.
Over the past several months, the Provincial Government worked closely with FFAW‑Unifor and ASP to address longstanding industry challenges and identify meaningful solutions. This government is grateful for the open dialogue, shared commitment, and strong leadership demonstrated by both parties. Today’s announcement reflects the importance of collaboration and represents a positive step forward in strengthening and growing the province’s fishing industry. Congratulations to all and best wishes for a prosperous fishing season.
