The following is being distributed at the request of Her Honour the Honourable Joan Marie Aylward, ONL, Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador.
Her Honour the Honourable Joan Marie Aylward, ONL, Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador, will be joined by the Honourable Barry Petten, Deputy Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, at the investiture ceremony for the eight recipients of the Order of Newfoundland and Labrador.
The ceremony will take place on Thursday, October 8, at 2:00 p.m. at Government House in St. John’s.
Media are asked to be in place by 1:15 p.m.

The eight recipients this year are Ann Bell, Garrett F. Browne, Evangeline Mae Drudge, Kathleen L. Knowling, Randy Murphy, Dr. A. Marion Pardy, Ronald G. Penney, and Winston M.K. Perry.
