The Honourable Mike Goosney, Minister of Labour and Minister Responsible for WorkplaceNL, will participate in the Steps for Life walk on Sunday, May 1.

Registration begins at 9:00 a.m. at the Rotary Paradise Youth Community Centre, 1 Sarah Davis Way, with opening ceremonies at 10:30 a.m. Participants are encouraged to enter through the main entrance of the Paradise Double Ice Complex and proceed to the Hedley Blundon Gymnasium. Participants will then walk around Octagon Pond, weather permitting.

Steps for Life is a national fundraiser organized by Threads of Life, a national charity dedicated to supporting families affected by workplace fatalities, injuries, or illnesses. Walks take place in communities across Canada each spring to align with the National Day of Mourning, observed annually on April 28, and National Safety and Health Week, May 4 to May 9.
