Pursuant to Standing Order 8(7), the Government has advised the Speaker that the public interest requires the House of Assembly to meet on an extraordinary basis to provide Members of the House of Assembly with the opportunity to debate and consider matters relating to a Definitive Cooperation and Implementation Agreement between Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro, Hydro-Québec and Churchill Falls (Labrador) Corporation Limited.

Further to this notice, the Speaker has advised Members that the House of Assembly will reconvene on Monday, September 14, 2026.

Proceedings will be broadcast live via the House of Assembly television channel and streamed via the House of Assembly website and social media channels (Facebook and YouTube).
