The Department of Jobs, Growth and Rural Development is inviting the public and key partners, including municipalities, Indigenous governments and organizations, businesses, community organizations, industry stakeholders, and local leaders, to help shape Newfoundland and Labrador’s rural revitalization strategy.
The Provincial Government is committed to taking a region-by-region approach to support sustainable economic growth and stronger rural communities. Through this engagement process, participants can share feedback on:
- A shared vision for rural revitalization in Newfoundland and Labrador.
- Opportunities and challenges facing rural regions.
- Ways to strengthen regional economic development and local leadership.
- Priorities and actions to support rural communities and economies.
- Measures of success for healthy and prosperous rural regions.
Interested participants can share their feedback by completing the online questionnaire through EngageNL, registering for an in-person or virtual consultation session taking place throughout the province, or providing written submissions by email or mail.
