The Honourable Lela Evans, Minister of Women and Gender Equality, will bring greetings on behalf of the Provincial Government at Superheroes Undercover, a fashion show celebrating the refugee women participating in Newbornlander’s Sewing Hope program.

The show will take place at The Rooms, 9 Bonaventure Avenue, St. John’s, beginning at 7:00 p.m.

Sewing Hope provides refugee women with hands-on sewing training and English as an additional language instruction to help build skills, increase confidence and explore employment and entrepreneurship opportunities.
