The Honourable Lela Evans, Minister of Labrador Affairs, Indigenous Relations and Reconciliation and Health and Community Services, will participate in Give Hope Wings, a community event hosted by Hope Air in celebration of their 40th anniversary.

The event will take place Monday, August 10, 2026, at Woodwards Aviation FBO West at 5-Wing Goose Bay at 11:00 a.m.

Minister Evans will be providing remarks at 12:00 p.m. and will also be joined by Keith Russell, MHA for Lake Melville.

Give Hope Wings is an annual volunteer-led flight expedition and fundraiser organized by Hope Air, a national charity that provides free flights, accommodations, and other travel support to low-income families needing medical care far from their home communities.
