The Honourable Joedy Wall, Minister of Social Supports and Well-Being, today announced that applications are open for the 2026-27 Grants to Youth Organizations program.
The program provides funding to not-for-profit youth-serving organizations operating in Newfoundland and Labrador. The program supports innovative projects that create opportunities for skill development, mentorship and social inclusion for youth between the ages of 12 and 29.
Projects funded through the program may support leadership development, inclusion and accessibility, youth engagement, community participation and intergenerational connections. Priority may also be given to projects that support marginalized youth, mental health and physical activity, food security, and education related to sexual exploitation and gender-based violence.
A total of $276,500 is available through the program, with a maximum of $30,000 available per organization.
More information on the Grants to Youth Organizations program, including the application form and updated guidelines, is available here. Applications must be submitted to SSWBGrantPrograms@gov.nl.ca by Friday, July 10.
