The Government of Newfoundland and Labrador is continuing its support for the Newfoundland and Labrador Folk Festival with an investment of $45,000 to ensure the ongoing success of one of the province’s premier cultural events.
The Newfoundland and Labrador Folk Festival has long played an important role in celebrating the province’s rich musical heritage while providing opportunities for local artists, attracting visitors, and strengthening the cultural sector. This year’s festival will once again bring together performers and audiences from across the province and beyond to share in a vibrant showcase of folk music, storytelling, and community spirit.
The Provincial Government recognizes the significant economic and cultural contributions festivals make to communities throughout Newfoundland and Labrador, as well as creating opportunities that enhance quality of life, foster artistic expression, and contribute to tourism.
