Team NL Mission Staff Announced for 2027 Canada Winter Games

The Honourable Andrea Barbour, Minister of Tourism, Culture, Arts and Recreation, today announced Team NL Mission Staff for the 2027 Canada Winter Games.

The 17 members of Team NL’s Mission Staff are:

  • Andy Poole, Glovertown
  • Brian Bennett, Conception Bay South
  • Clint Clark, Happy Valley-Goose Bay
  • Courtney Nichol, St. John’s
  • David Crane, South River
  • Erin Skinner, Mount Pearl
  • Gary Martin, Mount Pearl
  • Isabelle Baird, Portugal Cove – St. Phillips
  • Josh Blackwood, Clarenville
  • Keith Bursey, Pasadena
  • Kyle Barron, Stephenville
  • Melissa Blackler, Twillingate
  • Michelle Bartlett, Bay Bulls
  • Mike Summers, Torbay
  • Scott Bennett, Corner Brook
  • Tanya Haywood, St. John’s
  • Tina Purcell, Gander

As previously announced,  Karen Sherriffs was appointed Chef de Mission for Team NL at the 2027 Canada Winter Games, while Allison Sturge and Jamie Randell were appointed to the roles of Assistant Chefs.

The 2027 Canada Winter Games are taking place in Quebec City from February 27 to March 14, 2027. The Canada Games are the country’s largest amateur multi-sport event and is held every two years, alternating between summer and winter events.
