Government Celebrates Success of the 2026 Killick Coast Games

The Government of Newfoundland and Labrador is congratulating organizers, participants, volunteers, and communities on the successful completion of the 2026 Killick Coast Games, which took place August 16-20 in the Towns of Bauline, Flatrock and Pouch Cove.

Supported by a provincial investment of $10,000, the annual event brought together youth from communities throughout the Killick Coast region to participate in a variety of sporting and recreational activities that promoted physical activity, teamwork, leadership and community engagement.

The provincial contribution helped support the delivery of a high-quality, inclusive sporting experience for youth close to home and contributed to another successful year of competition, recreation and community spirit.

The Killick Coast Games continue to be a cherished summer tradition for families and communities throughout the region, bringing together athletes, coaches, volunteers and supporters to celebrate the values of sport, healthy living and community connection.

Over five days of activities and competitions, youth participants showcased their talents, sportsmanship and dedication, creating lasting memories and strengthening relationships across the Killick Coast region.
