The Honourable Lela Evans, Minister of Women and Gender Equality, will be joined by the Honourable Rechie Valdez, Minister of Women and Gender Equality and Secretary of State (Small Business and Tourism), and the Honourable Joanne Thompson, Minister of Fisheries and Member of Parliament for St. John’s East, to announce renewed support for crisis hotlines responding to gender-based violence in Newfoundland and Labrador.

The announcement takes place at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 4, at the Alt Hotel, 125 Water Street, St. John’s.
