The Honourable Dwight Ball, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, will participate in the announcement and signing of a bilateral housing agreement with the Government of Canada tomorrow (Wednesday, April 17).

Premier Ball will be joined by the Honourable Lisa Dempster, Minister of Children, Seniors and Social Development, Minister Responsible for the Newfoundland and Labrador Housing Corporation and Minister Responsible for the Status of Persons with Disabilities; the Honourable Seamus O’Regan, Minister of Indigenous Services, on behalf of the Honourable Jean-Yves Duclos, Minister of Families, Children and Social Development and Minister Responsible for Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation; and Yvonne Jones, Member of Parliament for Labrador and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs.

The event will take place in St. John’s at Froude Avenue Community Centre, 89 Froude Avenue, beginning at noon.
