Media Advisory: Minister Haggie Attending Memorial University’s Faculty of Medicine Anniversary Celebration

The Honourable John Haggie, Minister of Health and Community Services, will be attending Memorial University Faculty of Medicine’s twentieth anniversary celebration for the Centre for Collaborative Health Professional Education on Monday, September 30 at 2:00 p.m.

The event takes place in Room 5M101 at Memorial University Faculty of Medicine, 300 Prince Philip Drive, St. John’s.

Dr. Margaret Steele, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine; Dr. Noreen Golfman, Provost and Vice-President Academic for Memorial University; and, Dr. Julia Trahey, Director of the Centre for Collaborative Health Professional Education will join the minister.

The Centre for Collaborative Health Professional Education has played an integral part of health education at Memorial University. The centre develops, implements and evaluates interprofessional education activities for students across several health-related disciplines.
