The Honourable John Haggie, Minister of Health and Community Services, will speak at the Atlantic Quality and Patient Safety Learning Exchange tomorrow (Tuesday, October 8) at 8:25 a.m.

The event takes place in the main ballroom at the Sheraton Hotel Newfoundland, 115 Cavendish Square, St. John’s.

Hosted by the Atlantic Health Quality and Patient Safety Collaborative in partnership with the Canadian Patient Safety Institute, approximately 220 delegates will be attending including government representatives from the four Atlantic provinces, care providers, health leaders and managers, academics and post-secondary students. Topics for discussion include innovative and emerging trends in patient safety and quality improvement, the role of technology in the health care system, and the health and safety of care providers.
