The Provincial Government is inviting applications for the Inclusion Grants Funding Program, which helps community organizations create more accessible and inclusive facilities and events.

The Inclusion Grants Funding Program provides funding to eligible, non-profit, community-based organizations towards the cost of improving accessibility of their facilities, such as the installation of ramps, automatic doors or visual alarms. It also provides funding to improve inclusion for events and meetings through disability-related accommodations, such as sign language interpretation or captioning.

Support for the Inclusion Grants Funding Program continued in Budget 2019 with an allocation of $75,000. Since the program began, the Provincial Government has helped more than 74 organizations improve accessibility and inclusion. The program will remain open until funding is expended.
