The Honourable Lela Evans, Minister of Labrador Affairs, will participate in the opening ceremonies of the 2026 Labrador Winter Games.

The launch takes place at the E.J. Broomfield Arena, 2 Churchill Street, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, on Sunday, March 8, at 7:00 p.m.

The Government of Newfoundland and Labrador is the principal sponsor of the Labrador Winter Games, which will be held March 8 to 14. The games celebrate Labrador’s unique culture and test many of the traditional skills Labradorians have relied on for centuries, combining them with more modern-day events.
