The Honourable Tony Wakeham, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador and the Honourable Lela Evans, Minister of Women and Gender Equality, will be joined by Her Honour the Honourable Joan Marie Aylward, Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador, to celebrate the recipients of the 100th Anniversary of Women Achieving the Right to Vote and Hold Public Office Scholarship Program.

The event will take place on Friday, March 20, at 11:00 a.m. at the Capital Hotel, 208 Kemmount Road, St. John’s.

The awarding of these scholarships is an investment not only in education, but in the future leadership of Newfoundland and Labrador.
