Visitors to the Mistaken Point Ecological Reserve are advised that due to a planned power outage today (Tuesday, June 30), the Mistaken Point Interpretation Centre will be closed to the public from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Please note that the morning and afternoon guided tours of the Mistaken Point Ecological Reserve are going ahead as scheduled. Visitors may enter the building to check in between 10:00 am and 11:00 a.m. for the morning tour and between 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. for the afternoon tour.

Electronic payment systems will be offline, but cash will be accepted for visitors who have not paid for the tours in advance.

The Mistaken Point Interpretation Centre will resume normal operations when power is restored at 2:00 p.m.
