The Honourable Chris Tibbs, Minister of Housing and Minister of Social Supports and Well-Being, will take part in a groundbreaking ceremony for a new housing development in St. John’s on Tuesday, September 8.

The announcement will take place at 100 Churchill Avenue at 9:00 a.m. All attendees are asked to wear closed toe shoes as this is a construction site.

Minister Tibbs will join the Honourable Joanne Thompson, federal Minister of Fisheries and Member of Parliament for St. John’s East, as well as members of the Avalon Housing Trust.
