The Standing Committee on Public Accounts advises that it will hold a public hearing to follow up on matters contained in several reports of the Auditor General on Tuesday September 29 at 9:00 a.m.in the House of Assembly Chamber. The following matters will be under consideration:

• Memorial University Facilities Management Audit Report,
• Royal Newfoundland Constabulary: Management of Inventory and Employee Training Audit Report,
• Administration of Crown Lands Audit Report,
• Medical Care and Dental Health Plans Audit Report.

The Standing Committee on Public Accounts is a committee of the House of Assembly, deriving its authority from the House, the Standing Orders and parliamentary conventions. The Committee works in partnership with the Auditor General to improve public administration, which is essential to accountability and oversight in our parliamentary system of government.

The public galleries of the House of Assembly will be open and a live audio feed of the proceedings will be available on the House of Assembly website. Proceedings will also be livestreamed via YouTube and Facebook.
