Newfoundland and Labrador Housing Corporation is currently experiencing an unanticipated outage of its Emergency Shelter Line.

NLHC staff are in contact with Bell Canada to find a solution and get the line back operational as soon as possible.

During this outage, if you need emergency shelter, please contact 709-724-9063. This is a temporary replacement number that will be discontinued once the Emergency Shelter Line returns to normal operations.

You can also email emergencyshelterline@nlhc.nl.ca if you are seeking shelter, and staff will closely monitor that email this evening.
