The Engineering and Inspections Division protects the public from risk of injury, loss of life, and property damage associated with the improper operation and use of pressure systems, hazardous gases, elevating devices and amusement rides; and from fires and explosions in and around buildings, and flammable product storage facilities. It also assures public buildings are accessible by persons with physical disabilities.
