Notice of Registered Office

The main purpose of this form is to provide a mailing address and address for service for the corporation. If the place described is a small community, usually there are rural routes and no distinct road names. In these circumstances, it is appropriate to have a c/o address as a post office box is not acceptable. This address must be in Newfoundland and Labrador.

Notice of Directors

Because the computer system does not capture all directors listed on a notice, this information cannot be provided over the telephone. Instead, users must come into the registry and review the corporate file.

Number of Directors

The number of directors must at all times be consistent with the number permitted by the articles. If there is a discrepancy, one of two things must occur.Either the articles can be changed using a Form 4 (32 KB) to make the numbers consistent or secondly, the number of directors stated in the notice must change.
