The Personal Property Registry is a remotely accessible electronic registry that serves the entire province of Newfoundland and Labrador. This Registry allows both individuals and businesses to record their financial interest in personal property such as cars, boats and appliances. A secured party can use the registry to give notice to the public of its interest in the personal property which also establishes priority over other creditors.
