Collection of Information

As part of APSIM Conference registration, the Office of the Information and Protection of Privacy Commissioner for Newfoundland and Labrador (OIPC) collects attendee information using the Humanitix registration platform. The following information is collected during registration:

• Name (required)
• Email address (required)
• Job title (optional)
• Organization (optional)
• Mobile phone number (required for waitlist notifications)

This information is collected under the authority of section 61(c) of the Access to Information and Protection of Privacy Act, 2015 and is used to support conference-related activities, including attendee communications, conference name tags, waitlist management, and post-conference feedback opportunities.
