Summary

In mineral exploration, potential field methods that rely on the Earth’s gravity and magnetic field play a critical role in mapping near-surface and deep geological structures. This was applied to aeromagnetic data from the Hopedale block, Labrador, revealing multi-scale edge structures that provide insights into fault zones, contacts and the geometry of subsurface sources.
