The Communications Division is responsible for the planning, development and delivery of internal and external communications for the Department of Fisheries and Aquaculture and provides strategic communications advice and support to the Minister and executive officials. The division serves as the primary media contact, manages public and stakeholder communications as well as ensures the timely, accurate and effective flow of information about departmental policies, programs, services and initiatives.
