The Provincial Government is committed to resetting the provincial innovation agenda by developing a long-term action plan to expand the pool and capacity of Newfoundland and Labrador’s economic wealth generators – innovation and growth-focused businesses.
The Business Innovation Agenda focuses on actions in four main priority areas:
- Product Development and Commercialization
- Productivity
- Growth and Internationalization
- Workforce Skills and Talent
Through the Business Innovation Agenda, Government is providing financial and non-financial support to business throughout the lifecycle – from concept to seed to start-up and then scale-up and growth.
ACCELERATED GROWTH SECTION – ABOUT US
The Accelerated Growth Division is responsible for providing support for business in the critical areas that enable firm-level innovation and remove barriers to growth. The Accelerated Growth Division is providing support across the business continuum, helping companies start, innovate, scale and grow their sales in local, national and international markets.
Supports target financial and non-financial investments in business to advance research and development; commercialization; productivity improvement; innovation enhancement; knowledge development; and export market development.
