A joint Open File release by the Geological Survey of Canada, the Geological Survey of Newfoundland and Labrador and the Direction Générale de géologie Québec.
This release comprises twelve maps for six NTS areas of western Labrador, north of the Churchill Reservoir. Results are presented as two full-colour maps in pdf format for each map area: (i) Residual Total Magnetic Field and (ii) Second Vertical Derivative of the Magnetic Field.

These open files are part of a series of ten map areas in Labrador and adjoining parts of Québec, surveyed under the Geomapping for Energy and Minerals (GEM) Program of the Earth Sciences Sector, Natural Resources Canada. The high-resolution survey, completed by the Geological Survey of Canada, fulfills part of a joint geoscience program with the Direction Générale de géologie Québec, ministère des Ressources naturalles et de la Faune du Québec and the Geological Survey Division, Newfoundland and Labrador Department of Natural Resources.
